This is the most traditional way to eat zaatar. Enjoy by dipping a small piece of bread in extra virgin olive oil and then into bread dip*. Don’t forget to tell people that you just discovered a piece of ancient history!
*Other suggested uses: dip a carrot or veggie stick into hummus or strained yogurt, and then into bread dip seasoning. The seasoning will stick to the base like sprinkles do on ice cream!
